AI Solutions Engineer
About the role
We are looking for a hands-on builder to help us use AI across the company. You will find work that takes too much time, then build AI agents and automations that fix it. A big part of the job is integration: connecting our systems so data moves between them, and so agents can read from and act inside each one. You will report to our VP AI Transformation and work closely with teams like Sales, Customer Success, Operations, Finance and People.
This is a building role, not an advisory one. You will write code, connect systems and ship tools that people use every day. You will also own how these agents run in production.
This role focuses on how Sensos runs as a company, not on AI inside our product.
Location: Herzliya / hybrid
Reports to: VP AI Transformation
What you'll do
- Sit with teams, learn how they work today, and find where AI can save real time
- Map a process, then redesign it so an agent can take on part of the work
- Build AI agents and automations from start to finish, and get them into daily use
- Build integrations between our systems, such as our CRM, ATS, HRIS, finance tools, Slack, Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams) and Atlassian (Jira, Confluence), so data moves between them without manual copy-paste
- Make agents act inside these systems, not only answer questions: update records, open tasks, send messages and start workflows
- Connect AI to company knowledge (using RAG), so answers are based on our real documents and data
- Keep what you build running: monitor it, fix it when it breaks, and improve it over time
- Build evals and test sets, so we know an agent gives the right result before and after every change
- Track cost and usage for each agent and each model
- Set clear checks for privacy, access and human review, especially when tools touch employee or customer data
- Measure the impact (hours saved, faster response, faster cycle times) and share it with the VP and team leads
- Help people adopt the tools: short training, simple guides, and being available when they get stuck
- Try new AI tools and models, and recommend what is worth using
What we're looking for
- 3–6 years in a technical, hands-on role, such as solutions engineering, software development, business systems or automation
- At least one year of building with AI: agents, LLM-based tools or automations that real people use
- Proven experience building integrations between business systems (for example CRM, ATS, HRIS or finance tools) through APIs and webhooks
- You know what makes an integration work in real life: authentication and permissions, mapping data between systems, handling errors, and keeping data in sync
- You can show us what you built and explain what worked, what didn't and why
- Experience running something in production that other people depended on: monitoring, being on call, and fixing what broke
- Good coding skills in Python or TypeScript
- You start with the problem, not the technology. You ask how long something takes today before you ask which model to use
- You explain technical things in simple words and work well with people who are not technical
- You are comfortable without a clear spec. You can decide what to build and get it done
- You learn fast. The tools change every few months, and you enjoy keeping up
Nice to have
- Experience in a startup, ideally Series A–C
- Hands-on work with RAG, tool use, MCP or agent SDKs (for example Claude Agent SDK, OpenAI Agents SDK or LangGraph)
- Experience with automation platforms like n8n, Make, Zapier or Workato
- Knowledge of systems like HubSpot, Microsoft 365, Atlassian (Jira, Confluence) or an ATS
- Basic SQL and data work, so you can measure results yourself
- A side project, GitHub repo or demo you can show us
- Location
- Israel Office
- Remote status
- Hybrid
